Sistamize Business & Financial was created by sisters Heather Manson and Carolyn McDonald, bringing together decades of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, business operations, compliance, systems and people management.
We understand that running a business involves much more than simply keeping the books. It is about having the right systems in place, understanding the numbers, managing people and processes, staying compliant and having the confidence to make informed business decisions.
Carolyn McDonald
Carolyn brings more than 30 years of business experience and has worked in accounting since 1988. Her background spans accounting, financial management, business operations, marketing and human resources, giving her a strong understanding of what it takes to run a successful business.
She holds a Bachelor of Business (Accounting), an Associate Diploma in Business (Accounting) and a Certificate IV in Human Resources, along with extensive professional development in business and leadership. Carolyn also has 10 years of experience in the not-for-profit sector, including financial, administrative, compliance and reporting requirements.
At Sistamize, Carolyn takes a practical, solutions-focused approach to helping businesses improve their finances, systems and operations. Her focus is on making business management simpler, more efficient and more sustainable.
Heather Manson
Heather brings extensive experience across bookkeeping, BAS, payroll, compliance, accounting software, business systems and small business management. She began her career as a law clerk, spending almost 20 years developing a strong foundation in compliance, confidentiality and professional standards.
In 2002, Heather established Cashflow Bookkeeping & Business Services, supporting small to medium-sized businesses with BAS services, bookkeeping, payroll, superannuation, software setup, training and business systems. Alongside her husband, she also owned and operated a hospitality business for 23 years, which gave valuable first-hand experience of the financial, staffing and operational challenges business owners face.
Heather has more than 10 years of experience in the not-for-profit sector and has also developed MYOB, payroll and GST training courses for a professional training organisation.
Heather’s approach is hands-on and solutions-focused, with a passion for simplifying processes and improving efficiency.
